I’m sure all of you have ever heard paragliding sport. One of the extreme sport that has a high risk. Even though, this sport is popular nowadays. Lots of people addicted to this sports, for some people, the higher the risk, the more you do it, the more you want it. Fly few hundreds feet, above the ground and enjoy the air and the scenery around sure is a wonderful thing, it’s worthed. Unfortunately, besides you have to have skill and the other stuff such as parachute, you have to look for a good spot. Usually you have to look for a high place, mountain or high cliff plus a wonderful scenery that will.
Samosir, an island surrounded by toba lake, is one of the best place to do paragliding. Fly from the top of samosir island its called siulakhosa, you can enjoy the scenery and landed on the toba lake. Beautiful scenery, fresh water, I’m sure its one of the best place. For a beginner, you can find a training facility too in huta ginjang samosir, and for professionals there is an event/competition that held yearly. You can see the competition result that held last may 2009.
Soo, for you who love this sport, and want to try a new spot, just put samosir-toba lake on your list.

i’m affraid for now you have to bring your own parachute, since the facility still new..
but you can rent the parachute in toledo hotel in tuktuk…
Is that every hotel in tuk-tuk rent the parachutes?
not all hotels i think, but you can try toledo hotel.
