i have to admit, its little bit difficutl to find car rental especially for reasonable price, because, i dont know what price is reasonable to you, but you can recomend Tobali travel or Raja Taxi, you can ask informations about it as soon as you arrived in polonia air port medan, (i assume you travel by plane).

Hi, glad to know this website. There is too little information abt Lake Toba in the web.
Do you have any recommendation for car rental with driver at reasonable price?
I don’t see much choices in the web.

rencana lokasi ngenepnya dimana pak/bu? kalau di tuktuk-samosir saya bisa rekomendasikan carolina, samosir cottage, dan banyak yang lain.

to go around toba, i suggest u rent a car, but its relatively difficult to get a rent car. Probably, the easiest way is to ask the hotels for a car to rent, usually they have one or two.

baru check website nya ternyata susi air cuman terbang 1x sehari ke Silangit… wah musti nginep dong ya… ada rekomendasi hotel yg murmer?

how much will it cost to rent a car to go around toba… what’s ur suggestion for the best transportation to do that?

since you ask for the cheapest way to trevel to lake toba maybe i can suggest this..
from medan, you can take the bus, usually it departs hourly from amplas bus terminal, it will cost you about 20K Rupiah.
with that bus you will be arrived in parapat or ajibata, from there, you can take the boat to go to tuktuk (samosir island) or stay in parapat.

as far as i know, yes, for now only susy air that serve flights from medan to silangit…, and yes, its definitely something that i have to try also, someday i will
